How does Teoria work?
You log in, choose the driving licence category, and start practicing. Only questions, answers and explanations that actually make sense. We believe you learn better when you understand why an answer is correct, not just by memorizing it. Practice → Understand → Pass → Drive.
Is Teoria available in other languages?
Yes! Teoria is available in Norwegian and English. You can switch languages on My Page or directly here on the website.
Do I need an account to use Teoria?
Yes, you need an account. But it takes about 30 seconds to create one. Use Vipps or SMS to log in.
Does Teoria work across PC and phone?
Yes, that's correct. Teoria works across the devices you use.
How do I buy practice time?
1. Create an account (or log in if you have one) 2. Choose the driving license category you want to practice for 3. Choose the practice time that suits you 4. Pay with Vipps or card 5. Done! Now you can start practicing.
I got Teoria from my driving school. What do I do?
Great! Register with the same phone number you use at the driving school. Once you're in, you can start the practice time immediately.
Can I share the account with my friend?
No, the account is personal and follows your progress. And do you really want your friend to see how many mistakes you make on the right-of-way questions?
Are your questions similar to those from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration?
The Norwegian Public Roads Administration keeps their questions secret. But we create questions based on the same curriculum and methodology, and many students tell us they find the questions very similar. If you know the theory, you'll pass regardless of which questions come up.
How can I be sure that Teoria has quality-assured content?
The questions and theory are created by experienced driving instructors who have taught for years. They know the difference between memorizing and understanding, and have written the content accordingly. Everything follows the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's topic structure and is continuously updated when regulations change.
Why doesn't Teoria have a guarantee to pass?
Honestly? No app can guarantee that you'll pass. Whether you pass depends on how well you prepare. We build Teoria around understanding, not memorizing. We want you to understand why the answer is correct, not just remember it long enough to finish the theory test. A 'guarantee to pass' sounds nice, but it really just means a refund if you fail. We focus instead on giving you the best possible conditions to pass.
